If you reduce your blunders and punish your opponent's blunders, you will rapidly improve your rating. Try this :-
Watch the video. Admire the enthusiasm.
Try out the advice she gives in some games at longer time controls (at least 10 or 15 min).
If you see an easy win, just do it of course.
This is an exercise, once engrained it will be automatic.
